Linzer Torte


Linzer Torte is a cake of Austrian origins and was named after the city of Linz. With its sweet and sour flavour of raspberry jam and a distant aromatic fragrance its a true timeless classic. The cake of Linz has the most ancient recipe ever discovered, dated 1653 and originally from Verona, it was discovered in the Codex 35/31 at the Admont Abbey's archive.
